In 2020, at the height of Covid and lockdown, both Steve and Kristen decided it might be fun to make a profile on the dating app Hinge. Even though Steve lived in Goleta and Kristen lived an hour away in Camarillo, they matched. They spent time having dinner dates via Zoom and watching Netflix shows together remotely. When lockdown eased, every weekend was filled with adventures - exploring hiking trails in Santa Barbara, running together at the beach, taking their wire fox terrier, Louie, for walks, swimming in the ocean, and cycling around the central coast. Steve and Kristen are looking forward to a life built on partnership, mutual support, and a strong sense of adventure.
