We’re getting married!

It all started in June 2013 at a business dinner at the Dream Hotel Downtown. We sat across from each other where I was first introduced to STEEEN not Sten. Little did I know I was going to fall in love with two things that evening, a Norwegian boy and dirty martinis. A week later, Sten asked me out via work email to grab a drink and verbatim stated “if you’re lucky maybe some food after.” Safe to say I guess I passed his test!

We were visiting Sten's parents down in Marco Island, FL. When we first arrived in Marco we had plans to go to Sunset Grill for drinks, which is also known for its sunsets (unique name we know). While eager to not miss the sunset, we were walking down the boardwalk towards the beach to find the best view. To my surprise at the end of the boardwalk where it meets sand, I stumbled across my name in the sand within a heart & roses. I then turn around to find Sten down on one knee. It was one of the most surreal moments in my life & will always be our favorite sunset.
