Where should I stay?

Answer

The bride and groom will be staying at the Marriott in Huntsville. This is our personal preference to be able to return quickly to the hotel room after the reception which will be held in Huntsville. For those who wish to have a quick trip to the ceremony and not attend the reception, we recommend booking an Airbnb or a room in Decatur. For those who would prefer to have better hotel options and to be able to crash there in Huntsville after the reception, we recommend booking in Huntsville.

Can I bring a date?

If you would like to bing a plus one who was not included on your invitation, please contact Kristen at 404-376-7337. Most are welcome, we will just need to double check our bookings!

Is there transportation provided?

Answer

Unfortunately, there will not be transportation provided from the ceremony in Decatur to the reception in Huntsville. We recommend finding a party to carpool with for the short 30 minute drive to the reception.

What do I do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

We have left ample time between the ceremony and reception so that guests have plenty of time to return to their hotel rooms to freshen up and can find people to carpool with with plenty of time to get to Huntsville. The Botanical Gardens allow all wedding guests free access to the grounds all day on Friday, so if you arrive early to the reception feel free to explore!

Will there will bathroom facilities at both venues?

Answer

Please be aware that bathroom accessibility will be limited during the ceremony as it will be held outdoors. The reception will be held at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens which has clean bathroom facilities right next to the event room.
