If you have any other questions other than what we’ve listed here, please reach out to Kristen at 607-321-5664.
Question

Are Children Invited?

Answer

Anyone (of any age) is welcome to the Church for the Wedding Mass/Ceremony! Although we love your little ones so much, we have decided to keep our Wedding Reception an adults-only event (18+) with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Question

How far is the Reception Venue from the Wedding Ceremony?

Answer

From the Church and from Binghamton, it will take about 40-45 minutes to get to the Wedding Reception Venue. Please plan transportation accordingly. There will be a shuttle available to take guests from the hotel in Cortland to the reception venue and back as well.

Question

Is there a Shuttle to and from the hotel to the reception venue?

Answer

Yes, check out our Travel & Accommodations page for all the info you need! There will also be parking available at the reception venue for those who wish to drive.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Formal attire, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Question

Will the Wedding take place Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony/mass will be indoors at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The wedding reception will also be indoors at The Hathaway House, with the option of using the outdoor patio and grounds.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras during mass) . The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do." We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 4th, 2024. If you do not RSVP by the requested date, you will be marked a "No." You will be greatly missed, however, we have to provide total guest counts to the venue in a timely manner and they cannot accept late RSVPs due to this. Also, please do not assume that we have counted you in the total. All guests must fill out the online RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly.
