When should I RSVP by?

We’ll be sending formal invitations this summer, and RSVPs will be due around mid-August. For now, just save the date!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please plan to arrive by 5:00 pm ET. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Women are encouraged to wear gowns or elevated cocktail attire, while men may wear a suit and tie or a tuxedo if preferred. Think timeless and sophisticated.

Can I bring a date?

Of course! If your invitation lists a plus one, we can’t wait to welcome them, just add their name when you RSVP.

Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones, but we kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a well-deserved night off to relax and celebrate with us!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! There are several great hotels located just across the street from the ceremony and reception. Check out our Travel page for our recommendations.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Complimentary valet parking will be available on the day of the wedding for our guests directly in front of the event space entrance. Please note, this is separate from the main hotel entrance — valet will be located at 1435 Farmer St, Detroit, MI 48226.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No, the ceremony and reception will be held in the same venue.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We’d love for you to join us for welcome drinks on Saturday evening from 7:00–9:00 PM at The Brakeman (22 John R St, Detroit, MI 48226). We’re excited to spend a little extra time with our guests and kick off the wedding weekend together in Detroit.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events will be hosted indoors, with the option to enjoy the outdoor terrace during cocktail hour if the weather allows.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

Absolutely! We’ll have a photographer on site, but we’d love for you to capture and share your own moments.
