Maid of Honor
When Matt and I got engaged, the first call (after our families) was Jul. We have been friends since we were 5 years old. She's been there through it all . The only thing I knew for certain when we started wedding planning was that I needed her right next to me. There's no better friend in the world, so picking a MOH was the easiest decision of my life (after saying "yes" to Matt, of course!)
Best Man
Ben and I met all the way back to Kindergarten (I know crazy, right?). I had the honor of being his "Best Man of Honor" at his wedding a couple years ago. Ben is someone I consider as part of my family and my family does too which is pretty special. The man is a "Swiss Army Knife of Conversations" he can talk about anything, go ahead try it, find Ben and start a random conversation I guarantee he'll have something interesting to say on the topic. His title for the wedding is Best Man & I couldn't imagine it any other way.
Bridesmaid
Jordan and I have only known each other for a couple years, but it didn't take long for us to become good friends! Her husband, Tim, is one of Matt's best friends, so it's easy to imagine that we spend a lot of time together. We've bonded over wine, wedding planning, and Matt & Tim's shenanigans. I'm so excited to have her be a part of our big day!
Groomsman
Tim has been one of my best friends since 7th grade. He is my one friend that is more competitive than I am, when we hangout we are always competing & betting on random things. The bets never get out of control, as we enjoy similar hobbies so it's easy to find the right beer or cigar that covers the bet. Speaking of cigars, if you need one at the wedding ask Tim - I'm sure he'll have one for you!
Bridesmaid
Courtney and I were college roommates. We lived together and shared everything from meals to clothes. Even since college has ended, we have remained good friends, getting together as often as possible. I couldn't imagine our wedding day without her!
Groomsman
Troy has been one of my best friends since 7th grade. Hangout with Troy and I sometime, I'm sure we'll frustrate you a time or two. We feed off each other's comments and will blindly back each other up on anything. He's unpredictably funny and a great friend...If you are in need of a wing-man at the wedding Troy is your guy!
Bridesmaid
Kerry is that person in my life that always seems to just "get it". She's in education, as well, and can always understand and sympathize with whatever I've got going on at work. It is nice knowing that these crazy things aren't just happening to me! No matter what we do, being around Kerry is always a great time. She has a contagious personality - her happiness radiates to everyone around her. Our wedding day wouldn't be the same without her!
Groomsman
Brother of the Groom Mark & I would be friends even if we weren't brothers. I know it's probably because we are brothers, but we've always shared this special bond. In many ways, we couldn't be more opposite but hangout with us and you'll see how similar we actually are. He may be the best Super Smash Bros player ever, so I'm going to use this to brag that I have beat him at "his game". He is a very important part of my life, so he's a no-brainer as a Groomsman.
Bridesmaid
I've known Anne for years, but our friendship didn't really start to strengthen until after college. However, in the time since, she has become one of my best friends and an irreplaceable part of my life. Her fun-loving, uplifting personality is going to make this wedding a blast! Looking forward to having her by my side on our wedding day!
Groomsman
I met Chad my freshman year at PSU. We became friends as we both liked sports, food and not drinking while driving. Jake & I, among others, appreciate all those times you DD'd for us :) Chad's a guy that will do anything for one of his close friends. He's someone I always reach out to for his "good guy advice". I still have usable characters left so as always: Ladies, He's single & a great guy! Call or Text 717-798-4284
Bridesmaid
I've known Crystal for what seems like forever. All the way back to Kindergarten, when we were Daisies, to now, 23 years later. She is one of the best people I know and I feel truly lucky to have been friends with her for so long. Her beauty, inside and out, will be an amazing addition to our wedding!
Groomsman
Jake & I met my freshman year at PSU. We quickly became friends as we both love sports, booze and having fun. I can't count how many adventures and just funny stories we've shared over the years. Jake is always down to have a good time. He always brings energy and really lights up a room. I can't think about my time at PSU without thinking of Jake. Give Jake a $1 bill & he'll make a T-shirt bill for you! Fun Fact: Without Jake, I would have never met Kristen! Add Jake on Snapchat for some impressive elaborate drawings: snoborder99
Bridesmaid
Sister-in-Law of the Bride Jamie is the sister I always wanted. I'm so lucky she and my brother, Steve, found each other. I wouldn't even think twice about having her be a part of our wedding day!
Groomsman
Brother of the Bride Steve and I met shortly after Kristen and I started dating. We quickly formed a friendship over craft beer and annoying Kristen. It also helped that he is a PSU Alum and like many great people is a big Penn State fan. As Kristen and I got more serious, I've had the pleasure of getting to know Steve more and more. I'm happy to call him a friend and looking forward to officially calling him family.
Junior Bridesmaid
Sister of the Groom Marissa was very excited when we told her about our engagement. We have had a lot of fun with her "explaining" all the parts of the wedding process (ex. wearing a bathing suit since it's a beach wedding, having fake food at the rehearsal dinner, etc.). Now that she's realized we're just kidding, she is very excited about being a part of the wedding!
Flower Maid
Sister of the Groom Madison was so excited to learn about our engagement that she cried tears of joy. She immediately asked if she could be the "flower maid". OBVIOUSLY, we couldn't say no to that! So, no, it's not a typo - flower maid it is!
Ring Bearer
Nephew Have you seen this kid?! He's so cute - we'd be CRAZY not to have him in the wedding! Aunt Kristen and Uncle Matt love their nephew Landon and wouldn't be surprised if he "stole the show"!
Officiant
We chose Austin to be our officiant because he has been a good friend of both of ours since before we started dating, so he knows us well individually and as a couple. His personality is a good combination between funny and serious, and he has a heart of gold. He is charismatic and will do well speaking in front of our wedding guests. We wanted to have someone who knows us perform our ceremony, and Austin was the perfect choice! We look forward to having him as a part of our big day!
