FAQs

Question

What safety measures are you going to have?

Answer

As healthcare workers, we definitely want to keep all of you safe and healthy through the entirety of our weekend! Masks are mandatory for the ceremony per our church, and distancing guidelines will be in place. We will have masks available, but feel free to bring your own! Our reception will also have masks and hand sanitizer available, servers will be stationed at the dinner buffet to serve food, and we will have colored wristbands to indicate the amount of distancing you’d prefer while interacting with other guests.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 1:30 pm to get a good seat! Our ceremony will start promptly at 2:00 pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding and reception is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. As for the welcome party and/or after party, the dress code is casual. Wear whatever you’d like!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to space and budget constraints, our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! See the “Registry” tab on our site. We are registered at Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Amazon.com! Several of our gifts include a “group gifting” feature, where you may contribute what you wish!

Question

What is the weather like in Columbia, SC at that time of year?

Answer

Early November is usually pretty great! Highs are normally around 65-70 degrees, lows are around 45-50 degrees. It’s usually sunny, but feel free to bring a rain jacket just in case!

Question

Will there be transportation to/from the hotels?

Answer

Unfortunately, the hotels with which we have blocks do not offer shuttle service as far as we know. We encourage you to use a ride share service (Uber, Lyft, etc.) or rent cars in groups! Ask us if you have any questions or problems!

Question

I still have questions, how do I contact you?

Answer

Please email kmblazekwedding@gmail.com, or text/call us or our parents!
