Things To Do

Shenandoah National Park

Shenandoah National Park

17157 Skyline Drive, Front Royal, VA

While you're in town, we recommend heading over to Shenandoah National Park! The entrance is 5 minutes from the center of Front Royal and the easiest way to see the park is by cruising down Skyline Drive. There are tons of pull-offs where you can hop out, grab a quick photo of the mountains, and maybe even spot some wildlife. If you’re feeling active, there are plenty of hiking trails to choose from.

Luray Caverns

Luray Caverns

101 Cave Hill Road, Luray, VA 22835

Luray Caverns is a spectacular underground landmark famous for its towering stone columns and the "Great Stalacpipe Organ," which creates music by striking the cave's formations. Guests can explore paved, well-lit pathways that wind through cathedral-sized chambers and past shimmering "mirror pools" that perfectly reflect the stalactites above. It is a fantastic, climate-controlled option for visitors of all ages, as the caverns stay a comfortable 54°F year-round.
