If you ever talk to us and we say we are heading to "the bar" this is the bar we are talking about. It's basically our "Cheers". Huge selection of beer. Wine is served by the glass or the bottle. Tell them that Lem and Kristen sent you and you're likely to make a few new friends.
It's a speakeasy hidden behind a dumpster. Yes, you read that right. Head to the address listed which will take you to Henry's Majestic (This bar/ restaurant isn't the best so I wouldn't recommend it). Head to the alley behind the building and look for a door marked with two A's. No password necessary, the door man will just check IDs and allow entry based on capacity. There are no menus here. Tell the bartender what type of liquor you like and what flavors you're in the mood for (citrus, floral, herb-y, etc) and they'll make you a perfect cocktail. Katy Trail Beer is walking distance around the corner if you want to check out both spots.
Brazilian steakhouse meets pizzeria... and yes, it's all you can eat. ($$)
Unique and eclectic. Also a great option for brunch! ($$$)
Phenomenal continental style Mexican-- not your typical TexMex (Kristen's Favorite) ($$-$$$)
Neopolitan brick oven baked pizza. The owner also runs the dog rescue where we found both Arlo and Birdie. ($$)
Delicious Mexican in a fun atmosphere ($$)
One of three restaurants in the store Eataly. Browse around while you're there. ($$$)
Delicious, Texas centric food. Upscale Atmosphere. ($$$)
Learned about this restaurant on a trip to Vegas a few years ago. Was so excited to see a location open up here in Dallas. Also a great choice for brunch! ($$-$$$)
Perfect date night spot. And please, please, please, try the escargot.
Wine + Farm to table has never disappointed.
Come for the oysters but be surprised by the burger.
Looking for a fun way to end the night? Try the Cidercade. Yes, its a Cidery but they also have retro to modern arcade games. And it's all you can play for $10. If you're bringing the kids, this is also a fun activity during the day. It's kid friendly until 8pm.
