It all began on a seemingly ordinary Sunday morning at Substance Church in downtown Minneapolis—but little did we know, God was already writing something extraordinary. We first crossed paths as volunteers on the coffee team, unknowingly serving on opposite weeks as part of His perfect timing. Eventually, we were placed on the same team—and that’s when everything changed. Sunday after Sunday, we not only served coffee and learned about each others interests but also began to see how God was weaving our stories together. After months of friendship built on faith and community, we finally had our first date—at none other than Home Depot. It may not sound traditional, but it was real, simple, and so us. From that day on, our journey continued to unfold. We’re grateful every day for how He brought us together—through His perfect plan. The rest, as they say, is history... but we know the best is still ahead.
