Jon and I first met when I started my job as ABA therapist at Lighthouse Autism Center. Jon helped train me on the job. We slowly started talking and became friends. We had the discussion that we don't ever date our co-workers. Well the more we hung out the more something grew between us.

How we met

Jon and I went on our first big vacation in June to Boulder, Colorado. On our second day of our trip Jon and I got up early and decided to go for a hiked up Flagstaff Mountain. Jon and I got near the top of the mountain and we stopped to take pictures of the beautiful mountain views. After we got some great pictures and took in the gorgeous sight I turned around to put my phone in our backpack so it didn't get lost. When I turned around to face Jon, he was down on one knee and when I looked down at him I asked "What are you doing?" Jon replied "Kristen will you marry me?" I began to cry and quickly said YES!!!
