Jack and Kristen have had the joy of growing up side by side. They began dating in 2016, went to college together, and eventually made a home in Mississauga while building their careers. Along the way, they adopted a few cats and spent countless weekends camping across Ontario. This October, just weeks after the wedding they’ll celebrate ten amazing years together, with forever still ahead.

In the quiet, early hours of one of their summer camping trips, Kristen and Jack were staying at Mikisew Provincial Park with friends when Jack gently woke Kristen for a walk to the water’s edge. The lake was perfectly still, the morning light just beginning to break, birdsong drifting through the trees. Wrapped in the calm of the moment, Jack knelt and asked Kristen to marry him. Surrounded by nature, it was exactly where their love felt most at home.
