Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best formal cocktail attire. Please no jeans/denim and avoid shades of white. The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 PM. Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to allow time for parking and finding your seat. Music will begin at 3:00 PM.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be silenced and put away. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you’d like and don’t forget to share them with us!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is free parking at the ceremony and reception. Due to the ceremony and reception being held on a rural property with limited parking, please be prepared to walk along the road or in the grass to reach the wedding location.

Are there transportation options available?

Answer

Yes! Buses will transport guests from the Hilton Garden Inn to the ceremony and back after the reception. If you’re staying at the DeFord, Manor on Main, or elsewhere, please arrange your own transportation.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Please contact us at 419-233-1303 to let us know about your allergy, and we’ll be happy to accommodate.
