We are so excited to celebrate with you!

"A lot of different scenarios seemed to have occurred the night we met. Let’s just say that sometimes the stars do align! Sudden changes in plans from outside influences, as well as inside, led to us sitting right next to one another on the stools of the bar at the daily draft in downtown Woodstock. Our story is a bit fun so I'll give you the details we choose to share." -Kristen Late August 2020 Kristen had intentions of going to a birthday celebration at a friend’s house, which was planned well in advance. Kristen isn't the type to commit to something and sometimes changes her plans. About a week prior there was a sudden job that came up that her best friend’s husband had to take on, which pushed their beach vacation back just one to two days. Let me add that Kristen's best friend’s birthday was also coming up and this is why they had the trip planned. At her friend’s husband’s suggestion, she called Kristen to go out for dinner, since he would be on this job, so she did. This is when the first set of plans changed. Kristen still made it to the other celebration for a quick visit, as she had promised, but then left early to pick up her friend for dinner. Once Kristen picked her up, they headed to downtown Woodstock where they had planned to go eat at one of their favorite spots, Salt. Second change of plans; as they were walking, they spoke about how they weren't quite hungry yet and wanted to check out this new place downtown, called Tap and Pour. Obviously, this place isn't quite new anymore, but it was then. Tap and Pour is a casual restaurant where you can pour your own samples or glasses of local beers. Once they walked in, as it was new, it was PACKED! The only three seats available were the seats at the bar once you first walked in next to this guy that was sitting alone.... "That guy", is Kristen's, now soon to be husband, Glenn... Glenn was sitting and having a few beers after a long day of golfing with friends. He decided to head to this spot and wait while his friends went out to dinner with their in-laws and wanted to meet up after. In walk these two girls asking if the seats next to him were taken? As he likes to do, he made a sarcastic comment, this is what sparked Glenn and Kristen first conversation. To make this story shorter than it could be... Glenn and Kristen both had other dates that they were supposed to attend, Glenn that evening while waiting on his friends and Kristen the very next day. Let's just say that Glenn and Kristen hit it off and continued to hang out that evening and canceled the other dates. As neither of them had any anticipation or expectation of dating one another, they were completely themselves and had the best time together. Naturally, they kept in touch via text and it was effortless and easy, just as you would text your friend. Well, that’s the conclusion of this story, because they became the best of friends. They continued to hang out and eventually had their first true date but never had that first date "awkwardness". Their entire relationship, while nothing is ever "easy"; it’s been truly nothing but natural and effortless with these two. Fast forward, they bought a house together, made it a home and have two fur babies together, Bane and Harley. They have had many friends come visit, grill, swim etc., and have now both become very close to one another's very close friends. They adore one another's families and their family’s feel the same about them. Now coming up, the next chapter of their lives and they couldn't be happier to spend it with anyone other than the closest people to them, all of you!
