What is the Dress Code?

Answer

The dress code is black-tie preferred, which means we'd love for everyone to dress up, but we’re not making tuxedos a requirement. For the guys: A tux is ideal, but a well-tailored dark suit with a tie works too! Just keep it classy. For the ladies: An elegant floor-length gown is preferred, but if you’d rather wear a stylish dark suit or a women’s tux, go for it! Colors: The wedding party will be in black, so to mix things up, we’d love to see guests in other dark, fall colors. Can’t wait to celebrate with you all! ❤️

Can I Bring a Date?

We kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation attend, as we are unable to accommodate additional guests. Thank you for understanding!

Can I Take Photos with My Phone?

Our ceremony will be 100% unplugged. We kindly ask that you be present in the moment and allow our incredible photographer to capture our ceremony for us.

Sadly no, while we love your little ones, this is an adults-only event.

Yes! Please see the 'Hotel Accommodations' tab for a direct link to book at our special guest-only rate! This rate is only valid if reserved prior to 10/13/2025.

Is Transportation Available?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are onsite at The Simsbury Inn, so no need for transportation! There is plenty of parking onsite for guests. Our wedding is 100% indoors, but we do have an intimate, private outdoor space available during the reception, weather permitting.
