The Future Lewis'

On January 19th, 2018 in Auburn, AL, Kristen walked into the bar at 12 am and saw Recus standing on the very scarce dance floor and walked right up to him and said "hey I remember you" and then kissed him. (The weekend before at the same bar, Recus approached Kristen and asked to dance but Kristen was playing hard to get that night.) Kristen and Recus started talking that night in a booth in the corner of the bar and haven't stopped being by each other's sides since. It felt like destiny. They grew their relationship on the campus of their alma mater by meeting up in between classes, going to all the football games, and hanging out all the time. They graduated together in 2020 at the height of the pandemic and moved to Montgomery, AL shortly after that to pursue a job for Kristen. Two years later, they moved to Knoxville, TN for Physician Assistant school for Kristen. Recus has been Kristen's biggest supporter throughout all of life's many changes and challenges. Kristen and Recus have thrived in the beautiful city of Knoxville and are enjoying the slower pace of life since Kristen's graduation from school in December 2024. We can't wait to have all of our loved ones in one place to celebrate with us!
