DJ & Kris’s story began in 2007, at a middle school house party. I'm talkin' Vibes, Darlin- Vibes!! Sparks were instantaneous, though they played it cool.. They locked eyes, a dance was danced, and the rest was history! No REALLY - they didn't see each other for a myriad of weeks! They thought nothing of it. Until that one day, Dj's best friend gave that call: "Ya Girl is here.." and boy did he come running! 😂 Kris was maxin’ and relaxin’ at a friend’s house, until she saw him walk through the door. It’s been said that she played it cool.. But let Him tell the story— Nope, that’s a joke, Dont! They talked, laughed, listened to music for hours; though it wasn't until he leaned in and kissed her, her First REAL kiss, that the “what ifs” settled in her mind. Then again, Life was Life'n, and time settled between the two; Big Time. With Kris in East Point, he- Roswell, 6 whole years had passed of being solely phone pals. They developed a close & true friendship, some would say best friends! Being there through the beauty and pain of being young in this world, Kris and Dwight found solid support in each other. They eventually decided to give the friendship they built, a new title, and for the millionth time- Dwight asked her for the first "date" he always rightfully deserved. It was a great one, and as they finished their Chik-fil-a and continued car-versations for what seemed like hours, from THAT night on - they have been inseparable! It hasn't been 1000% Easy, but the challenges did Nothing but bring them closer. 11 years of loving each other, with God working Heavily in their favor, they share their Beautiful creation, Nomi Leigh, a Beautiful Home and Beautiful Memories that serve as a constant reminder: “This is Love, and is For US.” To The Hartridge's ✨💕✨
