Cory and Kristen first met in NYC during their masters program in the summer of 2016. It was soon after when Cory cracked a Hey Arnold reference joke where Kristen thought to herself "What a nerd! But at least he has a good sense of humor" and chuckled along. (Cory felt on top of the world for making her laugh). After taking her on a romantic first date to Applebee's, Kristen knew she had to be with him and they started dating in November 2016. From watching the sunset on top of a volcano in Maui to paragliding over the mountains in Nepal, they loved seeing the world together and getting to share new experiences. It was on one particular trip where their story embarked on a new chapter. Underneath a tree in Sicily where his Nonno and Nonna had their wedding photos taken over 60 years ago, Cory got on one knee, fumbled getting the ring out of his back pocket and popped the question. They are absolutely thrilled to start this new phase of life together and can't wait for you all to share in the love of making this forever in September. Let's get married and dance the night away in the Catskills!
