It all started with a swipe… On a trip to NYC in 2013, Chris entered into Kristen’s Tinder search parameters. Despite the match, the banter and witty conversation wouldn’t begin for several more months – until March Madness 2014 – when their shared alma mater, George Washington University, was scheduled to play in the opening round. After Kristen finally broke the ice, the two quickly realized they lived on opposite coasts. As fate might have it, Kristen had a work trip to LA to meet some beauty bloggers, because, well, it was 2014. Chris met Kristen at her hotel, the SLS, and took her out for a night on the town followed by some champagne under the moonlight on the Santa Monica beach. The two parted their night to remember unsure exactly if, and when, they might ever see each other again. A combination of personal and professional factors converged, which found Chris accepting a job and relocating to NYC two months later. The universe wouldn’t let the two make it very far from one another, as their shared love of live music and several of the same bands often led to them running into each other at concerts. If Andrew McMahon concerts were their child, they had shared custody with Kristen getting night one, and Chris getting night two. In other moments, the universe would ensure they were on the same subway train or running into each other via PR industry things. Eventually, Chris got the hint and after a couple false starts and a global pandemic, they took their leap of faith. Not just moving in with one another, but starting a new life together in Los Angeles in 2021 along their dogs Cortland the Corgi & Mister Jack Spaniel.

Chris proposed to Kristen on January 15, 2023 at the SLS Hotel where they first met, followed by an intimate celebration with friends. We're now looking forward to sharing our '10 years in the making' wedding event with our closest family and friends.
