FAQs

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Please avoid wearing white, as it is the bride's day to stand out.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Ohio weather fluctuates, but June is normally sunny or partial cloudy and the temperature runs in the 70-80s on average. I advise you dress warm and comfortable, especially since the ceremony will be outside.

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Please refer to the schedule for the address of these locations as you will be shuttled from the reception location to the ceremony, and back.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony will take place outdoors at The Exchange. Reception will take place indoors with AC at The Chouse.

Question

What if it rains the day of the Wedding?

Answer

The timeline will not change, however, we will move the ceremony to be inside The Chouse if it does happen to rain.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

TBD. You can mail it back, or you can answer online.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

3:30 pm! We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered on Zola! But we also have a honeymoon fund website that is mentioned in the Registry.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for out-of-town guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We are not able to obtain a hotel-block for our out-of-town guests. Recommendations to come.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We ask that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. Although, we encourage guests to post pictures of the reception on their social media and tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #WitnessingWoodcock so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
