Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be drinks, but we've decided on a toonie bar! We'll have an assortment of beer, cider, wine, whiskey, and hi-balls (each for $2each; if you want a double, $4), as well as free non-alcoholic drinks (e.g., soda pops, bubbly water). Additionally, there will be an ice water carafe that you can hit up whenever you like.

What is the parking situation on site?

Answer

There is limited parking next to the barn, but there will be overflow parking that is well-marked. We highly suggest carpooling as much as possible, as there can be NO vehicles parked on the road. If you are unable to drive home at the end of the night, overnight parking is permitted.

Am I allowed to smoke at the venue?

Answer

Yes - there will be designated smoking area, but please limit smoking to cigarettes/cigars/vape pens. No cannabis or hard drugs allowed

Are there any taxis or alternative transportation to get home?

Answer

1. there are only 2 Uber drivers in Sidney, so please do not rely on this mode of transportation to get home 2. If you are already planning to taxi, please pre-book ahead of time (booking 2 days in advance would not be seen as crazy); we will be charged extra if you have to wait for your ride after 11:00pm, so please pre-book so you don't have to wait (and we don't have to pay) 3. We are currently assessing demand for a shuttle at the end of the night, so this may be an option for getting near your home/accommodations (it will not drop you at the front door, but will get you in the neighbourhood)

What does accessibility look like at the venue?

Answer

The barn is wheelchair/walker accessible, and 1 of the 2 bathrooms is mobility aided with extra room and handrails

I've brought a card for the couple - where should I deposit it?

Answer

We do not expect anything but your gorgeous faces and boogie shoes to show up on our wedding day, but if you would like to bring us a card with well-wishes we will have a card deposit box well-marked on the table just inside the barn.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Yes - we've lived together for 4 years, so we really don't need tangible items of any sort. We've decided to have a honeymoon fund and a house fund. If you want to contribute anything at all (there's no minimum required contribution), we would be over the moon! Any contributions go straight to our PayPal account.
