After brief conversation on the dating app Hinge, Kristen messaged Ben her number. Unbeknownst to her, this same day, Ben was going to delete the app. Thankfully, he realized he had an unread message from her and the rest is history. Our first date was a few weeks later at the restaurant Black and Blue, which is now where we go on our dating anniversary every year!

We took a weekend trip to The Berkshires, MA. Our first day there, we went hiking to the Becket Quarry. After a short hike in the woods, we came to the top of a cliff that overlooked the Quarry. Following what seemed like ages for Ben, Kristen finally turned around after admiring the view to Ben down on one knee. The rest of the weekend was filled with celebrating and exploring the town that we hope to get back to someday!
