Niagara Falls is about a hour and thirty minute drive from Rochester. If you want to make a trip to see the falls, it is recommended to visit the Canadian side- there's more to do over there! If you want to see Niagara Falls on the Canadian side, make sure to bring your passport for border crossing.
Wine Country
The Finger Lakes have beautiful wineries and vineyards. It will take about an hour to a hour and a 45 minutes to get to the Finger Lakes depending on which you choose to visit. The largest amount of wineries are in the Seneca Lake region. The Finger Lakes has a wide variety of wines ranging from Riesling, Chardonnay, Pino Noir, and Cabernet. Some popular Seneca Lake wineries are Atwater Vineyards, Barnstormer Winery and Bloomer Creek Vineyard.
