Andrew and I met via Instagram through a production lighting group message. Andrew requested to follow me and I accepted. I didn't think much of it and followed back. He would reply to my instagram stories and I would hit him with the "double tap like". I mean I thought he was cute and he did production which was cool but it wasn't enough for me entertain the idea of starting to pursue someone I have never met in person. Andrew was very determined to get more than a one word response out of me. He would do just about anything to try and get my attention. He once even replied about a book I posted on my story and said " I heard this book is really good, I love reading." To be clear, Andrew hates reading. After a few weeks of this game, I was impressed with his persistence and decided I was going to pray about it. I asked The Father very specifically if this is the man you have for me then change my heart completely ---let me be me absolutely infatuated with Andrew. The next day I woke up and all I wanted to do was talk to Andrew. I even messaged him first. Over many hours and days of instagram dm's ( he wasn't about to get my number THAT easily) --- I became completely infatuated with him. He got my number a few days later by saying he would FaceTime me the opener of one of my favorite artists he was on tour with at the time (sly move). After that we started texting and having long phone conversations and facetimes. He was touring for another month before we could meet up and go on our first date. We met up in Charlotte, NC on May 6 of 2019 and explored the city together ( by explore I mean KPOP almost face planting on a lime scooter--but same thing! ). From our first date we both knew this was something special----and well the rest is history.

As listed above... I was minding my own business on tour (on instagram not working...) I saw this really cute girl and of course slid into those DMs. To my surprise.. SHE RESPONDED! The rest is history! I admit... I took some cheap shots in the early flirting stages... Lying about reading books and constantly sending her pictures of lighting and the shows I was doing. Once we started constantly taking and started to FaceTime I vividly remember getting giddy when I would see my phone light up. A month before I even met Kristen in person I was already madly in love. My touring buddies would poke fun at me because once I was done loading in I would just sit outside or sit on the bus and talk to Kristen for hours and hours. I remember one night I had to drive home from Nashville to Virginia once the bus got to Nashville at 1am. Kristen stayed up and talked to me from 1am until 6:30am. Shortly after we met for the first time in Charlotte. The rest is history! After our first date I knew she was the one. People always ask how we met.... the whole instagram story is kinda long so as much as Kristen hates it... WE MET ON TINDER! :)
