What is the shuttle schedule?

We would like RSVPs no later than Saturday, July 31

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love kids!! However, we are limited by venue size and cannot invite our loved ones' children. We can not accommodate children. Your invite is specifically addressed to everyone in your party that we are planning on accommodating.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Ooh la la. Again, we are limited in capacity and unfortunately cannot save a seat for your last swipe right, old college roommate, best friend, dog etc. Your invitation is addressed to everyone in your party that we would love to have celebrate with us.

What time should I arrive on the wedding day?

Answer

Please be in your seats by 3:20pm. Ceremony starts at 3:30pm sharp and we want to get this thing started so we can get on with the fun stuff!

Where should I park?

Answer

If you have to drive (instead of using Uber or our shuttles), please allot enough time to park and be shuttled up to the venue. There is a parking lot at the bottom of the hill (there will be signage) and staff at Holman Ranch will be driving people up to the venue in golf carts.

What should I wear?

Answer

Welcome Reception: Casual cocktail! Dressy casual with a flair. Wedding Ceremony/Reception: Formal Wedding Attire (California style). Men can opt for a suit and tie instead of a tux. Women can choose between cocktail dresses, dressy evening separates or a formal full-length dress. After Party: Whatever your heart desires.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Answer

We picked a venue with magic grass. Not kidding it's not heel-proof. Having said that -- I bet you would be more comfortable in a wedge or a block heel

Will transportation be provided to the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Yes! The road leading to our venue is a bit windy, and we didn't want guests to worry about transportation. There will be a bus service picking up from Carmel valley listed hotels and transporting guests to and from the wedding venue. Also, we will be informing Uber of our event to make sure they have extra drivers ready to transport our guests if you choose to use Uber. PLEASE NOTE: UBER AND LYFT will take 15 minutes on average to pick you up in carmel valley so plan ahead. The venue has parking spots if you choose to drive- but please be careful when typing in the venue to your navigation. If you type in "Holman Ranch" it will not take you to the correct location. Please type in: 60 Holman Rd, Carmel Valley, CA 93924

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both. The ceremony will be outdoors on the Hacienda Lawn, and the dinner will be held in an open-air patio. The dancing will be indoors. In the event of rain (welcoming your prayers starting now) - the venue will be tented.

What time will the reception end?

Answer

Carmel city ordinance requires we turn off the loud music by 10pm. But that's okay -we will see you at the farewell wine tasting the next day!

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

The area surrounding our venue has limited hotel room block options. Under 'Travel & Accommodation' on our website you can find many options for hotels and lodging in the area, from affordable to splurge weekend getaway hotels! Airbnb and VRBO are also great sources for lodging. We recommend staying in Carmel Valley to make use of the shuttles!

What about COVID-19?

Answer

We continue to monitor the global pandemic we have been living through. We plan on following the guidelines we are given during the time of our wedding. This may include spaced seating, masks, temperature checks and rapid tests. We also may need to lower our guest count. Should that happen, an email will be sent prior to the event. We appreciate you staying flexible as we navigate planning our celebration during a difficult time.
