We've blocked a handful of discounted rooms at the Tides Folly Beach, please call and ask for one of the rooms under the Miller-Diaz Ligorria Wedding. Otherwise, Airbnbs and VRBOs are very popular in the Charleston area! Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks.
We love the littles ones, but due to space limitations and the venue being on the water, we ask that you enjoy the night without your kiddos. Children that will be attending the ceremony are only those in our immediate family. Our reception is adult only. Thank you for understanding.
The wedding ceremony will take place on the beach in front of the pavilion. Please note that it will be a standing ceremony. We understand that some guests may require seating either for comfort or accessibility reasons. Therefore, limited seating will be provided for such guests to ensure their comfort and participation in this special moment with the bride and groom. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Kristen at 443-880-5601 so that we can make appropriate arrangements. The reception will be held at the pavilion.
There are only 23 parking spots reserved at the venue. If spaces run out, you'll need to park in general parking which is first come, first serve. Due to spring break, the volume of visitors may be higher than usual and in some cases, entry to the park could be one car in, one car out. If you decide to drive, please let the gatekeeper know you're "here for the Pelican Watch Pavilion reservation" so they do not charge you an entrance fee. *Note, you cannot leave your car parked overnight.*

Pre-wedding: - For those staying downtown, we highly recommend taking an Uber or Lyft to the venue which can drop you right before the gate. Do not enter the gate, they will charge you for entry. - For those staying on Folly Beach, you can call Angela at Palm Pick Up Shuttle. She is offering rides for $10. Text Angela at 843-609-8657 to schedule your ride. We kindly ask that you remember to tip Angela for her service, she is a family friend and we are grateful that she is getting our guests to/from places safely :) Post-wedding: - We have a 15-passenger van to take people from the venue to downtown Folly Beach where the festivities will continue!
