Why are you having the ceremony and reception on different days?

Answer

As everyone knows, Kristen and Jason have been together forever. Their current anniversary is October 16. They just want to keep that date and keep it going forever. Being that, that is a Wednesday they figured it would be kind of hard for everyone to be able to go to the reception if they did everything on Wednesday. So, they came up with the idea to have the reception that Friday October 18. Why Friday and not Saturday? Well, Kristen is superstitious. Her dad passed November 19 and her mom passed December 19. She just doesn't want the day of her reception to be October 19. She doesn't want to be jinxed. (If you follow) the number "13" is a lucky number for Jason and Kristen. The day of their wedding will actually be their 13th anniversary! ❤️
