Would you believe me if I told you that we met on Instagram? Our instagram profiles crossed paths, before DMs were created, and we both saw something we liked in each other. So that's when the double tapping and heart eyes' emoji started appearing on each other's photos. After phone numbers were exchanged, we started talking everyday. Finally we decided it was time to meet in person. In February of 2014, Kristen flew to D.C, and from there on it was history. Kristen later decided to move to the D.M.V area to be with Bryan and closer to her family.

The proposal happened in Cape town, South Africa on top of Table Mountain. We rode a cable car to the top of the mountain to explore the majestic features of Cape Town. We stopped at one location on the mountain to take photos. While there, an older couple asked us to take photos of them and after taking the older couples' photos, Bryan asked the older man to take photos of us. We posed for like five different photos, then Bryan goes "Hold on, can you take a few more," as he started to walk to his backpack. He pulled out a small black box, and walked to Kristen and got down on one knee on a rock, and started with, "Kristen, we have been through so much together...will you marry me?

Our wedding will be filled with lots of love and laughter. We are excited to have all of our family and friends come together to celebrate our love. The wedding will take place in Kentucky where Kristen was born. Having the wedding in Kentucky fits our modern rustic theme. Get ready for a party! After the ceremony the bar opens, we are gonna dance the night away.
