We’re Getting Married!

On a cold Winter night in December 2016 I decided to attend a bible study group for our Church and upon arriving I was nervous because it was my first time and I didn't know anyone yet. As I walked in and started meeting everyone I saw this cute girl sitting across from me and instantly was attracted to her beauty. Throughout the night I would awkwardly look over at her when she wasn't looking and would quickly look away if we caught eyes. Little did I know that on that night I would be meeting my future wife, the person of my dreams, and the one I had been praying for, for many years. Later in February 2017 we started talking more with each other and in March we started going on cute coffee/lunch dates. While attending a San Francisco Giants spring training game together I knew that this girl was special and I wanted to pursue a relationship with her. We started officially dating on March 19th 2017 and from that moment we began our amazing, beautiful, fun, and exciting life together. Through our time together this past year we have experienced some amazing times from Kristen breaking her arm on our first official date while ice skating! To kayaking in Payson, AZ, to going to youth camp together, hiking up mountains, playing video games, and more importantly enjoying the normal everyday things together that has giving both of us such amazing joy and happiness. On December 6th, 2017 one year after first laying eyes on each other I got on one knee and asked Kristen to be my life long partner and companion as we both expressed our desire to spend the rest of our lives together! Within 2 months of us dating I knew that I loved this girl. Her genuine joy and sweetness captivated me and very quickly I could see how she just enjoyed life with those around her. I am so incredibly excited to go on this new life journey with Kristen and I wouldn't in a million years rather it be with anyone else in this world. She truly is my other half!

Dec. 5th , When I met Andrew for the first time at a bible study, somehow, I knew that I had met the person who was about to alter my life forever. He was adorable, how he walked in with this big grin on his face and kept making awkward eye contact with me all night. Over the next few weeks we would chat at group and see each other at the random events our church would set up. Then, finally, (after I made the first move) we started messaging on Facebook and totally hit it off. We went out to lunch, coffee dates, and had a blast at a Giants Baseball game. That game is one of my favorite memories as we found out just how similar we were, how our dreams and life goals matched. After that date we were inseparable and hyped up on getting to know each other more and more; going on spontaneous car rides and talking for hours. I love thinking back on all our time spent on trips, with friends, family, and our church. We fell in love, and every day it has felt like we have been perfectly and divinely made to complement each other. Then, on Dec. 6th, the love of my life Andrew Wooten, asked me to marry him, and of course I said Yes! The day was perfect, Andrew brought me to all the special spots of our relationship like where we first kissed, first said, "I love you", and where we first met and from that moment I realized our futures would be shared together for a lifetime. He surprised me with a book he made of our love story, and a picnic with delicious treats. The biggest and sweetest surprise was turning around to see our good friends capturing the whole thing on their cameras. Now, I get to Marry my best friend, my favorite road trip partner, my greatest encourager, my second half and the Godliest man I Know. I cannot wait to write more of our story together.
