When should I arrive at the Basilica for the Wedding Ceremony?

Answer

The Basilica will open for guests at 2:30 PM. Please be seated by 2:45 PM as the Processional will begin promptly at 2:50 PM and the Ceremony will start at 3:00 PM.

Where should I park for the Wedding mass?

Answer

If you would like to drive on to campus and park for the ceremony, please enter campus through the gate off of Notre Dame Avenue and tell the gate attendant you are attending a wedding at the Basilica. Follow the road through campus, continuing straight through 2 stop signs. You will park in Lot A9 on the right following the second stop sign just behind the basilica. For Handicap access, there is a separate drop off zone to accommodate wheelchairs at the rear of the Main Building (the Golden Dome).

Where should I sit in the Basilica?

Answer

Kristen's family will be sitting on the left side of the congregation, Jim's family will be sitting on the right side. However, you are welcome to sit wherever you please, on either side, so long as it is not in the reserved rows towards the front of the church!

Where should I park for the reception?

Answer

The reception venue is a 2-3 minute walk from both hotels, however it does have parking available across the street. For anyone needing wheelchair access, the venue allows for people to be dropped off at the entrance prior to parking. For anyone staying outside of the two hotels where we have room blocks, we encourage you to identify a designated driver if taking your own vehicle, otherwise, please use Uber or Lyft. We want everyone to have a great time, and get home safe and sound. Remember, driving half lit, is not very bright.

How will I watch the Notre Dame game?

Answer

We scheduled the wedding during a Notre Dame bye week, so you will not have to worry about missing a game!
