Christian planned a secret trip to Anderson Japanese Gardens with Kristel's family. Initially, we planned a boodle fight with a group of our friends that same day. When Kristel's family asked about the garden, she was hesitant due to the prior plan, but Christian insisted to go. Once we got to the gardens, we took pictures of the beautiful greenery. When it was our turn to take a picture in front of a waterfall, the song "One Life" by Ed Sheeran started to play in the background. Kristel instantly started to cry as Christian went down on one knee. As she turned to look across the waterfall, her whole family was cheering them on. After the proposal, we announced the news to our friends at the boodle fight and celebrated!
