Hotels listed for your convenience. We can not stress this enough- we strongly encourage you to stay in Miami Beach (not Miami or elsewhere) the night before the wedding. The Miami International Boat Show is the same weekend as the wedding. Our venue is on the island of Miami Beach, nestled between many drawbridges. During the boat show, traffic is very difficult getting into Miami Beach. If you choose to stay on the mainland, give yourself a lot of additional time to arrive to venue or any Miami Beach events we plan. When a bridge goes up for yachts passing by, it could be up for 20 minutes. Also, the 79th street causeway bridge has made a habit of breaking down in recent years, so if you are coming from Miami or I-95, make sure to use the Julia Tuttle Causeway (36th street).

This hotel is where Darren and I will be staying the weekend of the wedding (Feb 15-17). The discount only applies to 2+ night stays from Feb 12-18. This is the preferred location to stay for the wedding. Walking distance to venue and lovely space.

Free Miami Beach Trolley service on Collins Avenue. If you choose to stay south of 44th street, this trolley will bring you to 67th street quickly. This is the closest stop to our home and the venue, 5 minute walk. https://www.miamibeachfl.gov/city-hall/transportation/trolley/collins-express-2/

A little further north than our home and venue, this all-suites motel offers fair pricing for larger rooms. About a 20 minute easy walk to the venue, or a 5 minute drive. Traffic can get congested in this neighborhood but with proper planning you should be good to go.

Flexible pricing but further away from the venue. Still close by in Miami Beach, this hotel offers private rooms, bungalows, and hostel-style shared accommodations for a fair price. Great pool and bar downstairs. 12 minute drive away, or a 20 minute bus ride from the venue and our home.

Looking for a luxury stay near the venue? This is your best option. Walking distance to our home and venue, there is a state of the art gym and spa, great pools, balconies, apartment style units, and ocean views. Highly recommend for anyone not concerned with cost ($600 or so per night). Floridians and Georgians get 25% off.

We will probably end up next door at the Sandbar after the wedding. Walking distance to our home and venue, this quaint hotel offers good prices above a local restaurant. Not luxurious but it will get the job done!

A more affordable option right next to 6080 Design Hotel. They have mixed reviews but if you ar willing to risk it not being super nice, it is within walking distance of venue. Sign up on their website or use the code listed for "members pricing" for 15% off. Rooms for under $200 a night are rare during this holiday and Boat Show weekend.
