What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

June in Charlotte can get a bit toasty with highs of mid-80s F (high-10s C) to lows of mid-60s F (high-20s C).

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses (full-length dresses and nice jumpsuits are also welcome!), and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We know how uncomfortable the summer heat can be here in CLT, so both the ceremony and reception will be indoors.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you try to arrive by 1:45 pm for a 2pm start time.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony: If you choose to drive, parking is validated in “The Green” parking garage. This is a below ground garage which can be accessed via South Tryon Street or South College Street. South Tryon Street Entrance - 435 S Tryon St - Below "the Green" South College Street Entrance - 500 S. College St., and then turn left into the parking entrance immediately after Benedict Hall and the Green. For Reception: Parking is available under the hotel for $35 per day.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a hotel block reserved at the Charlotte Marriott City Center, where the reception is taking place. Please refer to the Travel page for more information. If for some reason you do not want to/cannot stay at the Marriott, the Grand Bohemian is right across the street. This hotel is beautiful, but a bit more pricey.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We ask that you please refrain from taking any pictures during the ceremony, but any time/place afterwards, feel free!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We want all of our guests to be comfortable and have a good time, so please feel free to leave a note on your RSVP or reach out to us directly at mylett.kenyon@gmail.com about any dietary restrictions you may have and we will try our best to accomodate you!
