The Wedding Website of Kristan Bowman and Brett Lauerman
After our original venue in Montana cancelled on us, we had to take a deep breath and pivot. Looking back, we realized the heart of our wedding wasn’t a specific state, but a specific feeling. While our plans shifted, our vision for this weekend stayed the same: a celebration full of the closeness and connection we value most. We found everything we were looking for at Laurel Falls—a place that still honors the woods Brett loves and the mountains where my heart feels fullest. It’s an incredibly intimate and cozy setting that brings out the best in both of us. We feel so lucky to have found a spot that keeps the waterfalls and mountain views we dreamed of, while allowing us to bring the celebration closer to home and the family we love. We can't wait to share this little corner of Asheville with you all.

Flight

Asheville Regional Airport (AVL)

For those joining us for the wedding, the most convenient airport to fly into is Asheville Regional Airport (AVL). It’s the main hub for the Blue Ridge Mountains and is a quick, easy drive—only about 30 minutes from Laurel Falls. If you’re flying in, this will be the easiest and most common option for getting to the celebration. If you are looking for more direct flight options, Charlotte Douglas International (CLT) is another great choice; it's about a two-hour scenic drive from the venue.
