We met during a Resident Advisor training session that was about identity. When we reached the question about our ethnicity, Roberto had circled "Hispanic". I was in disbelief as he is white appearing and I asked him if that was true. He answered me in Spanish and from then on would only communicate with me in Spanish to maybe impress me. My fellow colleagues would poke fun at me with how he would greet me, "Holaa Krristaal." And, without either of us realizing it, is how our journey started.
