Things To Do
Surf Drive Beach
Beach Stickers are not required until Memorial Day Weekend, so you will be able to park at any of the public Falmouth beaches for free. Surf Drive is our favorite public beach. We recommend parking in the Mill Road parking lot (201 Surf Drive), corner of Surf Drive & Mill Road. Old Silver Beach is another great option. If you're staying closer to Woods Hole, we recommend Nobska Beach.
Shining Sea Bikeway
A MUST do! The perfect spot for a nice nature walk, run, or bike ride. It stretches 10 miles across Falmouth & Woods Hole with gorgeous views of marshes, oceans, bogs and more.
Rent Bikes
Corner Cycle is located directly across the street from Inn On The Square. No reservations are needed to rent standard bicycles—just walk right in! The price is $27 a day.
Pie in the Sky Bakery & Cafe
Great spot for coffee & breakfast sandwiches. It's also near the Woods Hole end of the bike path.
The Knob
Great spot for a nature walk! Incredible sunsets.
Cape Cod Winery
Fantastic spot to enjoy a glass of wine & hang outside. Big space with plenty of tables to show up with a group. They often have live music and our favorite pizza truck (Pizza Wolves) parked outside. Check their website or instagram (@capecodwinery) for their live music schedule.
Shopping on Main Street
Walking distance from Inn On The Square and Palmer House Inn. Take a stroll down Main Street for shopping & restaurants. If you're looking for a classic cape cod sweatshirt go to Soft as a Grape.
Coffee Obsession
If you’re staying at Inn On The Square, this is a great coffee shop located directly across the street.
West Falmouth Market
Best local market to grab sandwiches for lunch.
Golf at Falmouth Country Club
Great public course if you want to play a round while you're in town. We also recommend the Cape Club as another option.
Jacks Restaurant & Bar
The best pizza on the cape! Dive bar vibes inside, also great for takeout
Añejo Mexican Bistro
Best spot for Mexican! Greg's favorite restaurant. There is usually a long wait so we recommend snagging a spot on the waitlist on their website in advance.
Estia Falmouth
Best spot for greek food! We love eating at the bar here. They have an incredible drink called “the tinos” it’s a dirty martini but comes with a feta stuffed pepperoncini. We also love the “figetaboutit” pizza.
Flying Bridge Restaurant
One of the best waterfront views for dining. Go if the weather is nice and be sure to ask for an outdoor table. We recommend the lobster roll and you can't skip the massive onion rings!
Bluefins
Best spot for sushi
Poppy Raw Bar (The Raw Bar at Popponesset Marketplace)
If you want the biggest lobster roll (potentially too big) this is the spot. There's also a raw bar in Falmouth which is closer and also has a good lobster roll - not as massive.
Chart Room
Great views for outdoor dining on the water. Best mudslide in the Cape!
Landfall Restaurant
Great spot for dinner in Woods Hole.
Osteria La Civetta
Best spot for italian food. Really authentic & homemade. You must order the lasagna if it's available and the meat & cheese board is SO good.
