It just so happens, the state fair will be in town during our celebration (hence, our annual Ferris wheel selfies we take each year)! Hit up a concert, jump on some questionable rides, eat a bunch of delicious foods, & check out a ton of vendors if you'd like :)
Check out historic downtown Minot, where our celebration will be taking place! Michael and I love to journey over there from home throughout the summertime. You will find a plethora of shops, restaurants, bars, a couple of little museums, and even an indoor mini-golf course. Our favorite go-tos include Atypical Brewery, Ebeneezer's Irish Pub & Restaurant, The Spot pool hall, Ironhorse Restaurant, Budget Music & Video, Off the Vine, and Charlie's Main Street Cafe.
The Scandinavian Heritage Park located in Minot, North Dakota is a magical place where you’ll find remembrances and replicas from each of the five Scandinavian and Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Step inside a real Stabbur, explore our full-scale replica Stave Church, from Gol, Norway, and walk around the 25 foot tall Swedish Dala Horse, to name a few of our most popular attractions!
