Krista’s favorite brother and partner in crime. They spent many days building dangerous contraptions to ride while home alone during the summer. Unlike Krista’s tailbone, their sibling bond is unbreakable!

Brooke is Krista’s oldest sister. They share fond memories of Brooke getting yelled at by a parent for Krista j-walking leaving elementary school. Brooke’s greatest contribution is Krista’s nephews, Luke and Liam. Being the oldest child and the youngest child, they share a special relationship… filled with arguments out of pure love.
David McDowell
Best Man
David and Mike have known each other since ‘95. They share a love for things that go fast and the outdoors. They can be found hitting the woods or catching fish when they’re together. David is most famously known for the great fireworks display of 2021 that took place in Mike and Krista’s backyard.

Stephie K was Krista’s golf coach her freshman year of high school and conveniently Jordan’s best friend. Stephie has become an honorary sister to Krista. Always ready to do goofy things and give solid sisterly advice. Krista has forgiven her for the push-ups for missed putts.

“I ain’t got no pics with him but got him downing this glizzy” -Josh Leemaster Mike met Josh at a fire at Josh Belka's house their sophomore year of high school. Mike will never forget him dumping the clutch making the pass on Belka's mom's car. Josh will always speak his mind and has a mean double leg for anyone who disagrees. This guy delivers beer during the week and milk on the weekends, so be sure to thank this true American hero for keeping the country running.
Mariah Rice

Mariah is Krista’s first “horse friend.” They met at Larry’s stables in 2015. Krista thought she was a b*tch at first, turns out she is, but she’s actually a really great person. Krista is grateful of all the things Mariah taught her to make her less horse stupid and is so happy to have her as such a good friend.
Sam Layton

“A1 since day 1” -Sam Layton Mike and Sam have known each other since Mike moved to Barberton when he was 10. Mikes favorite memory was when they "almost" out ran Barberton police. Sam is famously known for planning the kayaking trip that almost killed Krista and made Mike donate his phone, keys, and fishing pole to the Cuyahoga River. Krista still is not convinced they weren't going to split the life insurance money when she drowned.
Julianne Belka

Julianne and Krista became friends because of Mike and Josh’s friendship. Julianne always pouring heavy and encouraging shenanigans is what sealed the deal for these two. Krista know she can always count on Juju to get the party going.

These two met freshman year when Josh was known as the quiet, tan kid. They both enjoy hunting but love it even more when they get to ride double on a quad to their spots. Josh has spent a lot of time keeping Mike and Krista on the road from fixing a ball joint on Patricia on Christmas Eve to having Krista's truck, Ray, towed to his house. Josh will give up his own time to help anyone and that's why Mike appreciates his friendship.

Hanna and Krista’s friendship sparked because of Mike and David’s bromance. Sometimes these two start laughing, and no one really knows why, but they don’t stop. They have spent countless hours on road trips together…sleeping or annoying the men in the vehicle, and they look forward to many more.

David and Mike met during their sophomore year while David was throwing things at other tables during lunch. They have spent countless hours in the woods. Having spent so much time in the woods they had a run in with a game warden, the first thing David said was, "Should we shoot him?" One of the things Mike likes most about David is their ability to always come up with a plan of attack in life and in the woods. (No, they did not shoot the game warden.)

Hali and Krista became friends through the mutual love of horses. Hali has always been the voice of reason, good and bad. Krista looks to her for advice on horse things and life. Krista would not have bought a green-broke 4 year old from Texas without her!

Mitch and Mike met while working on Josh Belka's K10. Mike's favorite memory with Mitch was catching huge catfish in Sandusky Bay. Mitch is a hard working, resilient guy that makes Mike proud to call him a friend.
Olivia Witt

Olivia is another horse friend. Her and Krista co-exist well together at horse shows. They have spent plenty of nights goofing off at the barn way too late. Krista will always treasure Liv for dragging that baby deer out of the road… as well as her always being there to help Krista decide if she over reacting.
Lonnie Atkinson

Mike and Lonnie have been friends since high school. There was a road rage incident on 77N that might have taught Mike everything he know about how to really have road rage. Mike appreciates Lonnie's friendship and that he is always willing to lend a hand in anything Mike gets into. Mike also admires how much Lonnie values his family and friends.
Travis Belka

Mike first met Travis when he was shooting squirrels in Josh's backyard. They both love spending time in the woods, whether they're hunting or leading the pack riding. Mike knows he can count on Travis to help him hide a body.

Liam turned Krista into Auntie Cupcake. Many nights were spent in the NICU together after Liam was evicted early. In his early years he enjoyed trying to shove crackers in Mike’s mouth. He lovingly offered to build Krista and Mike a house when he found out they were looking for one. It can be assumed that Liam gets his sweetness from his Auntie Cupcake!

If you asked Mike who is cuter between Teddi and Krista, he would have to think about it for a while. Mike and Krista will always treasure getting to be a part of Teddi's first experience at deer camp with her parents, Josh and Julianne. Watch out for her big blue eyes, they might melt your heart!

Luke also knows Krista as Auntie Cupcake. His Auntie Cupcake flew to New Mexico soon after he was evicted early and was staying at Hotel NICU. This kid has some sick dance moves, so watch out! Luke loves his Auntie Cupcake and Uncle Mike, but not as much as they love him!
