Jack Larrow and Krista Baroni were married on September 27th in an intimate ceremony at The Bee and Thistle Inn, located in Old Lyme Connecticut. Standing beneath the arbor they built together, the couple exchanged their vows at sunset in view of the beautiful Lieutenant river in the presence of thier immediate family. From the flower arrangements, boutonnière and bouquet they crafted from flowers they cut themselves, to the vows they wrote, along with signs and hand-written cards they created; every part of their wedding day had a personal touch. I will lead with kindness above all else I will not ignore bids for affection or connection If it is important to you, it is important to me I will make generous assumptions about you and your intentions Even when we don’t agree, we are always on the same side I will make gratitude a daily practice, you deserve to know that I appreciate you and our life together I promise to honor authenticity I will show up for you with vulnerability and honesty I will practice the law of abundance, because the more I give, the more I have I promise to extend and uphold these vows beyond our home and to live my life as a reflection of the love I share with others I promise to remind you as much as possible, through my words and through my actions, that you are loved, always.
There was almost no one involved in our wedding that we didn't already have a personal relationship with and it made it that much more magical and special. We owe so many of you expressions of gratitude for your roles in our wedding. Margaret Belanger; we owe you a thousand thanks and then some for the thousand moments you captured for us! These photographs are a gift, and you are special and irreplaceable to us. Emily Joy Ashman; you are incredible for taking on the weekend of shooting solo, and your presence meant the world to us. You also came through with the garment steamer, and we will love you forever for that! Tess Falkner; aside from making Krista feel like a beautiful Bride with your magical makeup and hair skills, you also brought your awesome babysitting game that we couldn't have lived without. We love you so much and are so grateful to you. Stephen Hollaway; thank you for adding a beautiful and personal touch to our ceremony. We are so glad you made the journey to officiate our marriage. We can't imagine anyone else in that role. To the staff at the Bee and Thistle Inn, especially Kris Rowe and Angel Ranfone - you did an exceptional job. Thank you for all of your hard work and attention to detail. To Carolann Patterson; we can't express our gratitude to you enough for making our family feel so at home at White Gate Farm. We are privileged to call you a friend. Ian Faulkner and Felicia Gilchrest; for helping make our party happen. You seriously saved us - thank you, thank you, thank you!! Tracie Potochnik; for so graciously accepting a song request and then performing it as though it has been a part of your repertoire for years. It was a beautiful performance and a memory we will treasure. To our family and friends; thank you for your love and presence in our lives. We are looking forward to making so many more memories with you all in the future. Cheers to a lifetime of happiness and love. xoxo - Krista and Jack
