While we were in the same classes throughout college at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (we are both Auditors, which makes for interesting dinner conversations), our relationship began in the Spring of 2017. We hit it off at the fine establishment of Chasers in Wisconsin, and after a movie date to see Logan, the rest was history. As we both have roots in the Chicagoland area (Krista is from Lake Zurich and Eric is from Winnetka), we both moved back to the city after graduating from Wisconsin to begin the next chapter of our lives. We currently live together in Wrigleyville (which was Eric’s dream as a little kid, next to living across the street from Lambeau Field). For our wedding location, we could not think of a more perfect place to get married than in Chicago, which is truly our home. We are so excited for you to join us, and we thank you for being a part of our special day.

On July 1, we were up in Oconomowoc, WI at Eric’s parents’ lake house. In the afternoon, the two of us went out on the boat for an afternoon cruise. Before going back to the house, Eric stopped the boat and asked Krista to marry him. After a couple moments of thought (kidding!), she said yes. After the proposal, Eric had planned a surprise party at the local Lake club, where Krista’s family and our friends were there waiting for us. It was truly a special day for both of us.
