Question

What should guests wear to the wedding?

Answer

We prefer for guests to dress semi-formal. Dresses, dress-pants, and nice shirts are what we have in mind. Try to avoid jeans if you can help it. We suggest for you to not wear heels that can sink or get stuck in the ground as the ceremony is planned to take place outside in grass.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

There is no for sure answer on how the weather will be. Based on the time of the year it will likely be warm to hot temperatures so bring the sunscreen and warm weather clothing. The weather may possibly be humid or windy out. We plan to have bug spray for anyone who needs it placed at the entrance of the ceremony.

Where do guests park?

Answer

We plan to have a few places for parking down Pricilla Curve Rd, Hatteras, NC. There will either be signs or a person out to guide you where to park.

How do we find the Ceremony?

Answer

When you find a place to park we have planned for golf carts to take guests to the end of the road where the ceremony will be taking place. You can ride on the golf cart or walk the short walk to the end of the road where you will see the entrance to the ceremony.

What do we do if we have a food allergy?

Answer

What are the wedding colors?

Answer

Our wedding colors will be Burgundy, Navy Blue and Gold. Guests don't need to worry about matching the colors though.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes kids are welcome. We kindly ask for you to watch your children to make sure they are not getting in the way of pictures. Also please keep in mind that we plan to have the ceremony near the sound side water and can be a danger to any unattended children. During the reception there will also be a pond behind the venue that can pose a danger for unattended children as well.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes dates are welcome. We ask for you to please add them into your RSVP when the time comes and to let us know if they have any food allergies.

Can I take a centerpiece or candle as a souvenir?

Answer

We kindly ask you not to take any of our decorations as some may be rented, borrowed, or planned to be used for something else. We plan to provide our guests with something to be able bring home as a souvenir along with the fun memories we plan to have.

Can I take pictures and post on social media?

Answer

Of course! The more the merrier. Please keep in mind we will have a professional photographer so avoid getting in his way while trying to take your own photos. During the reception we will have a sign of a hashtag you can even use to tag the event for everyone to see the photos.
