You Have Questions, We Have Answers

These are usually called FAQs.
Question

What food are you serving? You didn't try to cut costs with fake crab dip, did you? What is imitation crab anyway?

Answer

All excellent questions. Please see the FAQs below about the cocktail hour, dinner, dessert, and late night snacks. Regarding imitation crab, it's actually starch and finely pulverized white fish that has been shaped and cured to resemble crab legs. Mixed with cream cheese, stuffed in wonton wrappers, and deep fried, it's actually pretty good. Especially with sweet chili sauce.

Question

The crab wontons sound good. Are you serving those?

Answer

No, we're serving jumbo lump crab with avocado and cilantro lime dressing, atop microgreens. You're going to love it. Unless you have a shellfish allergy, in which case we would not recommend the crab.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Of course. Who do you think we are?

Answer

Freshly made French fries and boozy milkshakes. Get excited.

Question

What type of music are you playing?

Answer

Before and during the ceremony there will be a harpist. During the cocktail hour and for the reception, we have one of the best D.J.s in the area. He plays a wide variety of music and knows how to get a party started. Wear your dancing shoes.

Question

Is there free parking?

Answer

The Chrysler has plenty of free parking right outside of the museum.

Question

Are the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in the same place?

Answer

Yes, it's all at the Chrysler. We have a high value for convenience in this family. Work smarter, not harder.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Formal attire. For this event, formal means a suit or nice pants and a blazer for men. Tuxedos if you're so inclined. Women have a wide variety of options - cocktail dresses, pants and a blouse, skirt and blouse, pantsuit, evening jumpsuit, evening gown - the list goes on. And ladies - that prohibition against white? Forget it. Wear white. Wear cream. Wear ivory. Get wild.

Question

Will there really be an ice sculpture of your cats?

Answer

Yes, it's going to be incredible. Peach and Alex, lying next to one another and staring out across their domain, with our monogram in the center. Five feet by two feet of pure cat glory.
