We met in October 2021 during our senior year at University of Delaware at a bar called Home Grown. Dane was enjoying a rare night off from bouncing at Grotto’s, and Krista was out with some girlfriends. When Krista called out for a friend across the bar, she didn’t get their attention but caught Dane’s instead. They locked eyes and she waved him over to chat. He came over, made a few witty remarks, paid her some compliments, and casually mentioned that he rides motorcycles. What more could a girl want?! Our conversation was effortless, and it didn’t take long to realize how much we had in common. What started as a chance moment quickly became the beginning of everything. Within a few weeks, we were spending almost every day together. After graduation, we moved in together, became dog parents to our sweet Camorra, and eventually settled into our home in Harford County, where we’ve been building a life we couldn’t be happier with. In September 2025, Dane proposed during our long awaited vacation in Jamaica. After soaking up all the excitement of being engaged, we realized that we couldn’t imagine a better way to start this next chapter than by returning to a tropical paradise to seal the deal! We can’t wait to celebrate our love story in Mexico with all of our favorite people. 🤍
