Having both lost our spouses (after 44 years), we had each done our best to begin our new lives which included Country & Western Dancing, one Sunday after church I prayed and asked God to show me which dance hall to attend that day, I had also prayed that if He wanted me to find someone to please let them Love Jesus loudly and to be part Hispanic. That day I went to Martinez Dance hall and was asked to dance by a very nice man (Charlie) I couldn't stop smiling, He had what seamed to be a light shinning from him. After we danced I noticed he was sitting with a group of friends and I was compelled to ask if I could sit with them, they were having so much fun. Charlie invited me to sit right next to him, very exuberantly! Charlie says he saw a light and a beautiful smile and while we danced God told him to take care of me. We continued to enjoy the afternoon dancing and Charlie invited me to go see some waterfalls with him, I said yes and he asked for me number. That evening I was sitting on my back porch watching the sunset and thinking about how badly I wanted to talk to him. I snapped a photo of the sunset and texted it to him, the phone rang immediately...It was Charlie. He said He also had wanted to call but wasn't sure if it was too soon, Regardless, we talked for hours. We have been pretty much inseparable since then. Turns out God answered my prayers so perfectly, Charlie loves Jesus (and is 1/2 Hispanic) We have continuously sought God's will for our lives and will continue to dedicate our union to His service.
