Our love story begins in January of 2015 on an app that may or may not even exist anymore… MeetMe. Alvin had the app for a long time, but hadn’t met the right one yet. Krista had the flu and decided to download the app out of boredom. We made an instant connection that lead to a romantic first date at Marietta Square. We spent hours just talking to each other about everything under the sun, but one thing we instantly bonded over was our love for music. Alvin was in a band at the time and invited Krista to their first show on February 14, 2015. At the end of the night, Alvin gifted Krista a beautiful handwritten card for Valentine’s Day. Krista, being visually impaired, admired the card, pretending to read it because the print was small and it was dark. Little did she know, the card asked a very important question, and when she told Alvin how much she loved the card, she was agreeing to be his girlfriend! Although it started as a funny misunderstanding, it turned into the most beautiful experience either could have asked for. It’s been many years of growing together, learning who we are and how to be adults together, starting a family with our perfect pup Marty McFly together, and loving each other through every moment of it. We are so overwhelmed with joy to be finally uniting as one, and are so thankful to all of the friends and family that have supported our love journey over the years. We are so excited to celebrate our story with the people we love and cherish the most!
