Twin Lakes
Twin Lakes has an abundance of hiking trails and lake access with paddle board and kayak rentals, just 30 minutes from Buena Vista. Twin Lakes sits at the base of Mt Elbert, the highest peak in Colorado. Check out Lily pond lake trail for an easy hike or have a picnic by the lake.
Aspen
Take the 60 minute scenic drive along Independence pass through Twin Lakes to Aspen. Hang out and have lunch in Aspen for the day and check out some local shopping. For the adventure seeker, check out the Maroon Bells near Aspen via electric bicycle or walking trails.
