We first met back in 2022 when we worked together in college. We soon became good friends outside of work - it stayed this way for the next year & a half. We would flirt here and there but both SWORE we were just friends. In August of 2023, we started talking more and getting closer, and in September Lane asked me to go with him to a friends wedding - shoutout Justin & Jenna - "just as friends" of course. After this wedding, I knew I had feelings for Lane, but didn't want to ruin the friendship. It was after some encouragement from my friend, Kira, that I decided to make a move. (Yes, I will finally admit that I did indeed make the first move) A few weeks later we went on our first date, and the rest has led us to here! This story can not be told without giving credit where credit is due - we would not be here if it weren't for the transforming grace & love of Jesus. The Lord refined us both in tremendous ways & has transformed our lives. Thank you Jesus for taking us both out of where we once were & leading us to where we are now. NOW LET'S GET MARRIED!!
