Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will be offering a shuttle bus that will pick guests up from the Sonoma Plaza and drop off at Viansa Winery on Friday Oct. 1st. The shuttle bus will leave the Sonoma Plaza at 4PM on the dot. This will be the only bus we will be offering, if you do not make the 4PM bus or wish not to take it, you will be responsible for your own transportation to the ceremony. The bus will also be available to return guests back to the Sonoma Plaza with return times currently set at 9pm, 10pm, and the final bus at 11pm. Bus Pick Up Location: THE SONOMA PLAZA (453 1st St E, Sonoma, CA 95476) directly in front of Sonoma City Hall Building

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Anytime before 5PM. Viansa is a 10-15 mins drive from the Sonoma Plaza depending on traffic.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail or Semi Formal Attire. Please note that the ceremony will be held in the vineyard lawn so thin heeled shoes/stilettos might not be the best option.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know on your RSVP if you have a food allergy. Note: Catering will also offer a Vegan or Gluten Free option upon request.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will be hosting a welcome drinks ceremony from 8-10pm on Thursday Sept. 30th. Weather permitted, there will also be a farewell picnic brunch on the Sonoma Plaza from noon to 2pm on Saturday October 2nd. Please note that we will be at the north east corner of the plaza directly across from Sweet Scoops Ice Cream and B&V Whiskey Bar. Please see our Wedding Weekend Events page for more information!
