Chartres House is a local favorite—a French Quarter Landmark serving local classics and drinks in a historical environment. This antebellum building is said to be haunted by the ghost of Mrs. Dering, who died there in the mid 19th century. Her ghost has been seen peeking through the second-floor window at night!
