Things To Do

We’re excited to share some of our favorite places in both Waxahachie and Dallas! Waxahachie is a charming historic town with small-town charm — full of character, unique shops, and scenic spots to explore. There are beautiful walking trails, lake views, and quiet parks that make it easy to slow down and enjoy the outdoors. Just up the road, Dallas offers a totally different energy, with exciting neighborhoods, popular attractions, and plenty of fun things to do. One of our favorite areas is the Bishop Arts District — known for its vibrant streets, local shops, art, and great food. If you're traveling in for the wedding, this trip could easily turn into a weekend getaway — perfect for exploring both cities at your own pace!
